PTSD

Back to Behavioral Health Clinic Overview

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is more common than you might think, and does not necessitate having been involved in a wartime experience to fit the criteria for this diagnosis. Rather, someone may be experiencing PTSD symptoms after a life-changing event, including a car accident or death of a loved one. Post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms may include nightmares, flashbacks, or avoidance of anxiety-provoking stimuli. If you feel you may be struggling with PTSD, please reach out to your provider to discuss your symptoms and discuss a course of future treatment and further evaluation.
