Outpatient Therapy

Back to Behavioral Health Clinic Overview

Outpatient therapy may take the form of you seeing your therapist once a week, to once a month, depending on the acuity of your concern. You will meet with your therapist for 40-50 minutes during which your therapist will walk with you along your journey of mental wellness and healing.

Prior to being seen by your mental health provider, you may engage in natural, self-guided activities such as being sure to get plenty of fresh air and sunshine, as well as getting some physical activity each day. Physical activity need not take the form of jogging or lifting weights, but can look like completing housework or taking your pet on a walk.
