FAQs
Who can come to the Healthcare on Wheels unit?
SFHC’s mobile health unit partners with businesses and community organizations to provide healthcare services such as: health screenings, provider based appointments, immunizations, health education, and integrated health services (assistance with financial discount applications, scheduling clinic appointments, transportation for appointments and community resources). When SFHC partners with a business or organization you are involved in, you are welcome to utilize our mobile health services.
For example, when SFHC partners with a school district, the mobile health unit is available for their students (with parent/guardian present), parents, and staff to use for medical appointments whenever the Healthcare on Wheels is parked at that district’s school.
