Our Newest Medical & Pharmacy Providers!

SFHC puts an emphasis on being a clinic that helps educate and encourage future healthcare professionals. This may mean students doing rotations in the clinic, hosting educational classes, and, the program you may be most familiar with, being the home of several Resident Physicians.

If you haven’t heard of Medicine Residency, it is where doctors (both MDs and DOs) go after completing medical school. As a patient, I think of this time as the physicians’ time to establish a practice, learn from other doctors in the clinic where they work, and build up their reputation. At SFHC, resident physicians stay for three years before moving on to practice, usually, in a rural Kansas area that does not have enough physicians to serve their population. So, each year SFHC gets at least five new residents and sends off five off to their new homes.

For the first year, we are also hosting a Resident Pharmacist! He will be at SFHC for one year.

All of the residents are now seeing patients and we would love for you to meet them!
