Match Madness

It’s nearly time for Match Madness!

Yes, March Madness too, but we are most excited about Match Madness!

If you haven’t heard of Match Madness before, its one of the biggest fundraising days in Saline County. All donations to participating non-profits will be matched up to 50%! On March 24th all of your favorite nonprofits, including us, will be gathered at the Salina Fieldhouse from 7a – 7p. Click here to view the whole list of participants. We encourage you to swing by our booth to say hello and learn more about what we’ve been up to. In addition to non-profit booths and donation stations, you can drop in to watch the NCAA Tournament and half court & free-throw shot contests, in addition to enjoying lunch from some of your favorite food trucks.

If you’re unable to attend, no worries! There is an online donation option here – available the whole day of the event.

We are very proud of what our team has accomplished and the way they keep the SFHC values at the core of what we do. If you are interested in:

  • Education: Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency Program, in SFHC, trains resident physicians to go out and practice family medicine in rural Kansas where there may be a physician shortage. Plus, In 2021 we had approximately 300 students (nursing, medical, dental, etc.) come to do workplace learning with us! Did you know: we even provide housing when they need it.
  • Excellence: Over 97% of patients in December said they’d recommend us to their family or friends.
  • Innovation: We began offering telepsychiatry and psychological testing. We also assumed care for patients with HIV in our community.
  • Teamwork: Our Dental Outreach team saw 4,629 students, at their schools, to provide dental care. They even applied fluoride varnish to 1,651 students!
  • Social Justice: Our new Outreach Department works with underserved populations to receive healthcare services, exactly where they are. This includes offering health education, vaccinations, and more at worksites and in rural communities in Saline County.
  • Patient-centered: In addition to offering a Discount Card to qualifying patients, our Financial Screening team hosted Healthcare Marketplace events, where they helped Salinans find the best healthcare policies for their needs and budget.
  • Ethics & Integrity: We offer high quality healthcare, regardless of ability to pay.

We would be grateful to have your support in providing extraordinary care for all – no exceptions.
