We’re sure you’d use the same adjectives to describe this year that we would: challenging, unusual, tiring. But, as 2020 comes to a close, we remember and thank those who have been a source of constant support for our patients, board members, and staff! Thank you for your dedication to compassionate healthcare and professional education.
As you would imagine, we stayed busy this year. Here are just a few of the many highlights:
• Launched a new brand including a logo, building update, and website
• Saw over 10,801 unique patients (2019)
• Screened over 8,300 K-12 students for Dental Outreach
• Served 1,205 people with our discount card, allowing those below 200% of the federal poverty line to receive discounted services.
• Best Family Practice (Dr. Peterson) and Best Pediatrician (Dr. Rupe) in Salina’s Best of the Best. Placed as finalists in the categories of Best Non-Profit and Counseling Practice (Dr. Warbinton)
• Earned several awards and certifications: HRSA Quality Leader Award, Patient-Centered Medical Home by NCQA, and COLA lab certification
• Achieved 96% Patient Satisfaction of patients who would recommend SFHC to a friend or family member
• Completed a lab renovation, bringing COVID-19 testing in-house
• Grew our team with many talented new staff members
• Reached 425 patients on the SimpleSync Program and added Pharmacy delivery services
• Served 886 behavioral health patients
• Graduated five family medicine residents to practices in KS and rural NE
• Served as shadowing experience for 71 students
• Added telemedicine services
• Added a mobile unit for community-based services
