For over 45 years, Salina Family Healthcare Center (SFHC) has provided high-quality, compassionate care to north central Kansas. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we serve over 11,000 patients annually, regardless of financial status, now offering highest quality medical, dental, behavioral health, eye care, and pharmacy services. In addition to local and regional care, SFHC has trained doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, therapists, and more to care for rural and underserved communities in Kansas.
The Vision:
To meet growing needs, SFHC is launching a $60 million capital campaign to build a new facility:
- Expanding clinical facilities to serve more patients.
- Consolidating services under one roof for comprehensive care.
- Training additional healthcare professionals through expanded educational programs.
The Challenge:
The Salina region faces growing demand for healthcare services, particularly amongst those without insurance or of limited financial means, and rural Kansas endures ongoing healthcare workforce shortages. Salina Family Healthcare Center is working to solve both issues.
Each new doctor cares for 1,500+ patients and produces $2 million per year of economic development for their community.
