Wendy Gibson, PMHNP
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Yellow Team
Wendy is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Fort Collins, Colorado, with a deep fascination for anatomy, physiology, and especially the brain. She completed her education at the University of Colorado, Kansas Wesleyan University, Southern New Hampshire University, and earned her PMHNP certificate from Washburn University. Wendy is passionate about caring for patients with mental health concerns, stroke, and traumatic brain injury, and believes that every person’s unique history and story deserve to be heard and respected.
What Wendy enjoys most about her work is listening and giving patients the space to share their stories while thoughtfully connecting the dots to understand how their experiences have shaped who they are today. She approaches care with curiosity and honesty, and if she does not know an answer, she is committed to finding it. Outside of work, Wendy enjoys reading and writing fiction, drawing, photography, and travel. A fun fact many do not know is that if she were not a nurse, she would likely be a librarian or possibly an architect.
