Shelly Bushnell, RDH
Dental Office Supervisor
Shelly Bushnell, RDH, ECP II, is a native of Pratt, KS. Shelly has known the dental field was for her since she was in Jr. High. Those feelings were confirmed her sophomore year of college when she worked in a dental office. She especially loved that the hygienists got to spend the most time with patients. Her dental journey took her to the University of Missouri - Kansas City, School of Dentistry where she earned her degree.
Shelly loves the satisfaction she feels when she helps a patient who starts off with dirty teeth, to achieve a pearly white smile. Her clinical interests include helping patients with dental anxiety, completing challenging prophy cases, and assisting patients who haven't had routine dental cleanings. Shelly's patients would tell you that she's a big believer in quality of work. She may sometimes spend extra time on a patient or have them come back to make sure everyone achieves a clean smile. Shelly says, "I have a lot of experience working with children and individuals with dental anxiety. I understand how challenging it can be and do not judge those who are a little nervous."
Outside of the office, Shelly makes sure to stay busy. She enjoys spending time with her kids, going for walks, doing home improvement projects, and cooking.
