Dr. Sarah Nelcamp, DDS is from Johnson City, TN – a Salina-sized community in Northeast TN, known for its wide range of outdoor activities. Her journey to becoming a Dentist began in childhood! Dr. Nelcamp always loved going to the Dentist, then, in 7th grade, she got the chance to shadow her dentist for a school project – hooking her on the idea of a career in dentistry.

She achieved a degree in Biochemistry at Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina. After Anderson University, Dr. Nelcamp moved on to Creighton University to complete her D.D.S.

Dr. Nelcamp especially enjoys root canal therapy, extractions, and crowns. Her favorite thing about being a dentist is the opportunity to help patients solve problems and improve their own health. If you have an appointment with Dr. Nelcamp, you should know that she is excited to meet you and is very excited to provide excellent dental care – maybe even inspire a few future dentists too!

When she’s not in the exam room, Dr. Nelcamp enjoys going to the gym and outdoor activities such as hiking, exploring new trails, and nature photography. She also spends time needlepointing and playing the guitar. As a fun fact, she’s lived in eight states!
