Samantha Coup-Metzler, LCPC, LAC
Behavioral Health Integration Supervisor
Samantha Coup, a Behaviorist, is a native of Hope, KS in neighboring Dickinson County. Samantha achieved her undergraduate degree at Kansas State University. While at KSU, she tap-danced and served as President of Psi Chi, an honor society for psychology students. She then made the move to Kansas University to finish her Master's Degree. Yes, she cheers for both the Wildcats and the Jayhawks! Now that she's in the field, Samantha's favorite thing is getting to see changes in her patients and "planting seeds for future change." She says. "Even if I don't see immediate change, it's worth knowing that they may use it in the future."
She's been jokingly described as 'spooky' because of her love of horror movies, Halloween, and 'ghosties.' If she's not watching horror movies with her family, its likely she's reading book-to-film adaptations or playing adult recreation sports with friends.
