Megan Honas, RDH, ECP II, is a native of Medicine Lodge, KS. Megan had braces as a child, and has been intrigued by teeth ever since! She says she 'loves the way a smile can brighten someone's day.' Megan earned her degree at Wichita State University, after first attending Cowley County Community College.

Megan's favorite thing about her job is the satisfaction after completing a cleaning, knowing she contributed to improving a patient's oral health. Megan's clinical interests include working with kids and getting to know each patient as an individual. Megan's patients would tell you she has a gentle touch while still being thorough and that she's great at giving patient’s a positive dental experience. Megan enjoys working with kids so much that she leads SFHC's Dental Outreach program. This program brings dental care directly into the schools to screen kids, who don't have a regular dental home, for cavities.

When she's not helping someone with their smile, she is playing sports (she was a collegiate basketball player), spending time with family and friends, cooking, doing home improvement projects, enjoying time outdoors at the pool, or at the lake camping.
