Dawson Clark, MD

Resident Physician
Dr. Clark is a dedicated healthcare provider and proud Jayhawk with a passion for patient-centered care and rural health. Although he originally considered a career in architecture, a high school anatomy and physiology class—and later work as a CNA, he helped him discover his true calling in medicine.

Dr. Clark completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas and earned his medical degree from KU Med in Salina, where he was recognized with both the “Your Doctor Award” and the “Guiding Light Award” for his compassionate, exemplary care.

He is especially passionate about preventative medicine, helping patients live healthier lives through proper nutrition, exercise, routine screenings, and mental health support. What he enjoys most about his work is forming meaningful connections with patients and learning what makes each person unique.

A small-town Kansas native, Dr. Clark is deeply committed to serving rural communities. He plans to return to Great Bend after residency to give back to the community that raised him. Outside of medicine, he enjoys swimming, lifting weights, running, and reading.
