Carlos Guzman, MD is a native of Overland Park, KS. In addition to being passionate about healthy lifestyles, he loves to build lasting relationships and help others achieve their goals. These passions led him to MidAmerica Nazarene University and then the University of Kansas – Kansas City, to complete his MD.

Dr. Guzman is especially interested in sports medicine and psychiatry. His favorite thing about being a doctor is the “amazing people I have the privilege of serving and working with.” Something patients should know about Dr. Guzman is that he will ask you about your exercise! He says, “Exercise is medicine!” He is fluent in Spanish and looks forward to serving the vibrant, Central Kansas Latino community.

When he’s not in clinic, Dr. Guzman can be seen running all over Salina! He’s actually ran the Boston Marathon twice, in both ’22 and ’23. He also loves participating, watching, and talking about all things sports. If you feel like quizzing him, his secret superpower is knowing every country’s flag and capital.
