Dr. Abbey Rupe grew up in Minden, NE. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology from the University of Kansas in 2001. She then received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita in 2005. During her medical education, Dr. Rupe was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Rupe then went on to complete her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Kansas School of Medicine- Wichita where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Rupe is an active member of the AAP, KAAP, and the Saline County Medical Society.

She is married to Dr. Chris Rupe, a general surgeon. Together they have two children. In her spare time, Dr. Rupe enjoys running, reading, spending time with family, and volunteering in the community.
