Robert O’Neill, PharmD

Resident Pharmacist

Robert’s interest in biology, chemistry, and healthcare led him to pursue a career in pharmacy. Robert graduated from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy, where he received a Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical Science and a PharmD. Throughout school, Robert worked in a small community pharmacy in Lawrence, finding his passion for longitudinal patient care. He was able to help reduce medication costs, optimize health outcomes, and form lasting relationships with many patients.

His clinical interests include diabetes management, hypertension management, medication adherence strategies, and all things new in the world of pharmacy. Robert’s favorite thing about being a pharmacist is that, “every day is different and you never know what will come up. Talking with patients about problems they are experiencing, suggesting solutions, and hearing how your suggestions have helped is so rewarding.”

Robert would like potential patients to know that he is available to address any medication related questions or concerns, without judgement. He is always available to review medications, over the counter drugs, and supplements to ensure that everything is safe and appropriate. Mostly, he wants you to know that he loves what he does and will make every effort to support your healthcare journey.

In his down time, Robert likes to play the piano, collect pharmacy antiques, and thrift to find hidden treasures. His favorite genre of movies, books, and shows is either fantasy or horror. Robert also loves to cook all kinds of food, but his favorite recipe is biscuits and gravy, which he also loves to eat. Robert is new to Salina, so he is always looking for suggestions on the best places to explore and things to do to get the true Salina experience.
