Growing up surrounded by family members in the medical field, her interest in medicine was sparked from a young age. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver, Carol initially aimed to pursue a career in psychiatry. However, her path took a turn influenced by the significant impact of medications on her parents' health and the values instilled by her upbringing. This led Carol to pursue pharmacy, drawn by the opportunity to help others achieve healthier lives.

She is a recent graduate from the University of Colorado – Skaggs School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. Throughout her academic journey, Carol has gained valuable experience in outpatient hospital and retail pharmacy settings, discovering a passion for direct patient care. Carol’s clinical interests span cardiovascular, psychiatric, and endocrine conditions, with a particular focus on diabetes management. She finds deep fulfillment in medication therapy management, especially in serving underserved populations, a cause she holds close to her heart.

In her free time, Carol leads an active lifestyle, enjoying activities such as going to the gym, hiking, attending concerts, and playing and watching basketball. She’s an avid traveler, with her most recent adventure to Costa Rica, where she continued to explore new cultures and destinations whenever possible.
