Andrew Lopata, PA
Andrew Lopata, PA, is a native of Madison in Upstate New York. Andrew loves challenges, helping others, and having no two work days the same – so becoming a PA was the perfect fit. His education began at Gannon University (PA) with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Following his time at Gannon, Andrew completed his education at Mary Baldwin University’s (VA) Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences with a Master’s of Science Physician Assistant. While at Murphy’s, Andrew earned the “Award for Clinical Excellence.” He also graduated Pi Alpha from the National Physician Assistant Honor Society.
Andrew has experience in providing care in emergency medicine, behavioral health, and urgent care. He enjoys “all medicine that allows for me to use my skill set to provide quality medical care.” His favorite thing about his profession is that “Medicine is a continuous learning process… it allows me to connect with many people and surrounds me with others who are passionate about providing care.”
If you are/become a patient of Andrew, you’ll get a patient-centered, team approach to your care. He is a great listener, who will want your input in creating a treatment plan. Although he’s from a big state, he is from a small town and understands the importance of relationship building.
In his free time, Andrew likes fitness and playing all sports, hiking, outdoor activities, and spending time with his friends and family. Fun facts about Andrew: he’s played the drums since he was 8 AND he’s an excellent snow/wake boarder!
